Breaching Basking Sharks

Today the town of Hopewell held its Annual Town-Wide Yard Sale - a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  Most fun (even better than the bargains to be had) are the interesting people that I met – like Chuck Kruger.  Chuck is visiting his son who lives in Hopewell, but his home is on a small island south of Ireland where he has a 60-acre seaside farm. We got to talking about basking sharks and he said that he has seen them breach out of the water, much like whales.
