Lee Peterson

Lee is an artist, author, dreamer, scientist and award-winning photographer who creates subtle but powerful images. His science background enabled him to develop his own underwater camera housings and strobes which became the company, Marine Camera Distributors, that sells a multitude of systems to professional underwater photographers. He was a co-founder of the San Diego Underwater Photographic Society in 1961 and today runs the San Diego Photo District community as well as his own commercial photography business.

Lee has been a strong supporter of SRI since its founding in 1991.
