Bob Ferrara, Chairman

Bob brings a wealth of experience from management in academia to our organization.

Recently retired, he was the Senior Director of Strategic Planning, Communications and Alumni Relations for the Division of Student Life at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In this capacity, Bob worked extensively with the MIT Alumni Association and a broad cross-section of MIT alumni. He has also held a senior position in MIT’s Information Systems group and served as Treasurer on the Northeast Regional Computing Program, an EDUCAUSE-affiliated consortium of over 200 higher ed institutions focused on improving information technology in education, academic research and educational administration in nine northeastern states.

Prior to his service at MIT, Bob was employed for over two decades during the Cold War with defense contractor Raytheon Company in the Missile Systems Division.
